Wind, Sand and Stars is the English title of the book by Antoine de Saint-Exupréy, Terre des Hommes. Actually, in this book he writes about the Sahara Desert but this picture was taken in the Rub- Al-Khali Desert (Empty Quarter) Both are as beautiful, colorful and exciting to be in.

It is great to see in person the images conjured up by a good book long ago.
