The UAE National Day is celebrated on December 2nd every year in the United Arab Emirates. Ther are 7 Emirates (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Fujairah, Sharjah, Umm Al-Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah), they joined as a country in 1971 headed by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which was the first president. Fireworks are a common activity all over the Emirates during this special day.
